ODE ON A PUBLIC TOILET revolves around a three-year project to create an essay film about the literary, design and gender-specific aspects of public toilets. The zine includes stills, narration and poetry from the unreleased film and a foreword and afterword that document the wider process of filmmaking. This book is about failure, remaking and change in the artistic process.
